Pour-over Guide
You'll simply need the following to kickstart your brewing journey:
- Kalita filter paper
- Pour-over brewer
- 12g coffee ground
- 210g water (plus additional water for rinsing)
- Weighing scale
- Timer
- Kettle [Gooseneck preferred]
Total brew time would be approximately 1:40min – 1:50min.
Brewing steps:
- Put the paper filter into your brewer and wet it with hot water. [ This step will remove the paper smell and taste, it also helps to preheat your brewing equipment. ]
- Discard the rinsing water.
- Pour the coffee ground into the brewer and shake lightly to spread it out evenly.
0:00 - 0:10 | Pre-infuse grounds with 70g of water. Let it bloom for 20s
0:30 - 0:40 | Pour 70g of water in a circular fashion.
