Pour-over Guide

You'll simply need the following to kickstart your brewing journey:

  • Kalita filter paper 
  • Pour-over brewer 
  • 12g coffee ground
  • 210g  water (plus additional water for rinsing)
  • Weighing scale
  • Timer
  • Kettle [Gooseneck preferred]

Total brew time would be approximately 1:40min – 1:50min. 

Brewing steps: 

  • Put the paper filter into your brewer and wet it with hot water. [ This step will remove the paper smell and taste, it also helps to preheat your brewing equipment. ]
  • Discard the rinsing water.
  • Pour the coffee ground into the brewer and shake lightly to spread it out evenly.

0:00 - 0:10   |  Pre-infuse grounds with 70g of water. Let it bloom for 20s

0:30 - 0:40   |  Pour 70g of water in a circular fashion. 

1:00 - 1:10   |  Pour 70g of water in a circular fashion, shake gently after pour
