Coffee Bean Care

Our bags are equipped with a one way valve to release the buildup air when the beans are degassing (Remember to seal your bag up properly after each use).

Store in a dark and cool place.

Not necessary to put in a container.

I see oil on my coffee beans. Should I be worried?

No. All coffee beans will naturally produce some oil after 2 weeks.

Darker roast produce oil faster while lighter roast takes a longer time to produce oil on the surface of the beans.

On a positive note, the oil also acts as a lubricant for the grinder.

How long can your beans be kept for?

Our beans can last up to 2 months. Kindly refer to our coffee bean care or write in to us for any questions.

When is the best time to start using the beans?

We recommend using it 2 weeks after the roast date, allowing the coffee beans to rest and time for the flavours develop to hit is maximum potential
